HORTICULTURE.

Despite great achievements in its development, Ghana is still too dependent on imported foods. At the same time, Ghana needs to increase the quantities of produce it exports, including pineapples, bananas, mangos, and cashew nuts.

To feed the population sustainably, improved horticulture can help the country to reduce its reliance on imported produce such as cereals, rice, and sugar cane. Agritop is well-positioned and will use the technology and training programs at our disposal, to help our farming clients increase the quantities of essential homegrown crops. Agritop’s education program also extends to post-harvest activities, including proper drying and storage of produce.
